Ever since, she has participated in over 15 conferences in Greece and abroad, both in English and in French, both as a delegate and as a chairperson. Moreover, she has been an active member of the “European Law Students’ Association (ELSA)”, having served as a Director for Seminars and Conferences in the past. She has also been the Head of Judges and the Head of the Organizing Committee for four consecutive years in “Conseil des Jeunes Citoyens”, a city council conference simulated in French.

This year will be her second appearance in SimUnesCO, as she will serve as the Chair of the Committee of Social and Human Science. She is more than thrilled to come back to SimUnesCO, since this conference is the best opportunity for everyone to explore their inner talents and to cultivate their character in the most efficient way. Her goals for this year’s edition is to produce a high-level academic work, to have fun and enjoy the summer in Corfu and, along with her two amazing co-chairs, to make SOCHUM great again!

Dimitris Nikolaidis Committee of Social and Human Sciences Co-Chair

Dimitrios Nikolaidis will serve as the Co-Chair of the Social and Human Science Committee. He was born and raised in Thessaloniki. He is an undergraduate student in the faculty of Law at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His first Model UN experience dates back to high school, which deeply influenced him and determined his engrossment in international law and foreign affairs. Ever since, he has zealously participated in many conferences, this being his third time in SimUnesCO. He believes that engaging in such conferences constitutes not only a constructive opportunity to enhance diplomatic skills and acquire further understanding about international organisations, but also a greatly beneficial way to broaden your horizons and, eventually, change the way one perceives the world.

Apart from MUN, he is an active member of the European Law Students’ Association (ELSA) and the Hellenic Institution for United Nations. He is also keen on writing, photography, literature and traveling.

Along with his highly proficient colleagues and the excellent team of SimUnesCO, he is determined to render this year’s conference an unforgettable experience for all participants.
